Awhile back I finished two embroidery projects that I haven’t yet shared with you. This is one of my favorite tea towels to date and I’m so happy that I gave it a good home. I used mirrored flower images from Tigerpup’s Power Flowers pattern. I just really enjoy the happiness of all her designs (like the clouds!). They are always bubbly and cheery and fun to stitch up.
The second is a companion tea towel (surprise!) to the pineapple tea towel I embroidered earlier this fall. The set will be a nice little birthday gift for a special someone this spring. I know. I’m ahead of the game on this one which I assure you is beyond bizarre. Please forgive the crappiness of the photos.
I have several other embroidered projects lined up and hope to get started on them soon. I’ve just been so into sewing lately that it’s hard for me to think about much else! To end this post, I thought I’d share with you a few fantastic crafty and embroidery links that I’ve enjoyed lately.

Hope you are all having a fabulous week thus far! I’d love to hear how you are, what you ate for breakfast, if you’ve read anything cool lately. Whatever really. My blog reading time has been next to zilch lately and I’m feeling out-of-touch!

I seriously love embroidery. The simple lines, the colors. It is just beautiful. I absolutely adore that first tea towel.
your embroidery is so beautiful! i love the designs you’ve chosen and your neat little stitches.
Great outlines, I love the designs
Oh my you are so talented. These are gorgeous! I am new to embroidery. My grandma did it when she was younger. I wish I had been able to watch her. Luckily I do have some of her things!

Thanks for those kind words Angela. Basic embroidery (which is what I do!) is super easy once you get the hang of it…and then it’s addictive!
