After seeing Carolyn’s darling set, I bought the Oliver & S Bedtime Story Pajamas pattern and made these.

We’re calling them the Banana Pajamas and they received rave reviews, contrary to this nervous little photo.
They are super soft and cozy and there’s something endearing and funny about seeing your child in a kimono. The pattern worked up fairly quick, minus the few times I had to re-read the directions, and the size is just large enough that I’m confident these will last through our typical cold and dreary spring season. One pair down, two more to go!
What winter sewing projects do you have lined up? My head is swimming with ideas.

Oh my gosh! They came out adorable! I am loving all the cute pajamas I’m seeing lately…it is definitely pajama season!
Great jammies, and what a FACE! Love it.
I love the monkey fabric so much and I totally feel you on the cuteness of your kid in a kimono. I really need to bite the bullet and shell out for an Oliver and s pattern one of these days.
I am so happy I got to see darling Banana Boy wearing his adorable jammies after Thanksgiving! Both are soooooooooooo cute!
Can’t wait to see the next set!

Too cute!!! I think kids are probably the only ones who can rock the kimono look. Oh he looks so cozy, I just wanna hug him!
Hi!
Can you tell me when you found this pattern at fabric depot? I have been searching everywhere and can’t find it. If you’re able to locate it on their site (I can’t!), can you link me to that page? I really appreciate it!
Thanks!
Hi Katy, I purchased the pattern at their store and locals are able to use their weekly 40% off coupons to purchase the patterns. I’m not sure if their online store sells Oliver & S patterns or not, I know they don’t list everything in their store on their site. Good luck!
adorable! is there a chance you’d want to sell the pattern? I soooo want to makr this for my boy. x
Hi Jelena. I actually have another set of fabrics picked out for another pair to make for my son. The pattern I have only goes up to size 3 (which I am using), so not now, but perhaps in the future!
You did a great job on these. I love the bananas.
