Welcome! I’m so glad you found my little corner of the web. My name is Kimberly and I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband and toddler son. You can find more information than you probably ever wanted to know about me here.
In short, I created Bambino Steps to record my complete 180 degree lifestyle change after giving (natural) birth to my son. I blog about a variety of topics, which you can browse by clicking on the bold categories under the header. The categories are as follows:
Beautify – this category has loads of natural skin care recipes, make-up tutorials (coming soon!), hair care secrets and styles, fashion tips and more.
Create – I am a very creative person and this is where I house all of my crafty adventures. I focus mainly on sewing, embroidering and children’s projects.
Love – this is where I unveil my favorite obsessions, link to cool things on the web, and record my deep thoughts and memories.
Mangia – I’m Italian and I have Celiac Disease as well as a dairy intolerance. It’s awesome. I currently follow a Paleo diet, including many SCD and GAPS modifications. I love food, I strive to make what I eat not only incredibly delicious, but super nutritious as well. This is where you’ll find all things food-related from gardening, preserving and favorite seasonal recipes.
Nurture – the kid’s section! Ever evolving, this category is home to all the activities that I prepare for my son, our reading lists, and loads of art ideas.
Thrive – in my early twenties I lost 100 pounds, only to gain nearly all of it back during pregnancy and my first two years as a homemaker. This category catalogs my rise to hotness and health by following my three secrets: sleep, food and fresh air.
To get to know me better, view the Get Acquainted posts featured on my sidebar. From time to time I do offer giveaways, especially around the holidays and my blogoversary, so stay tuned for those.
